Directing comedy is like conducting an orchestra, but the instruments are bad puns, awkward pauses, and the occasional spit take. It’s about that perfect look or awkward silence that nails the joke. When it works, everyone laughs with the product, not at it.
About
Peter Skorupskas is an innovative mind and practitioner in the art of comedic relief, bringing his talents to any brand bold enough to have him (and yes, that means you).
He started at the bottom—fresh out of high school, chasing gigs and collecting the kind of production assistant horror stories you can dine out on for decades.
From Chicago to Detroit, Peter’s worked on projects both monumental and forgettable: the famous (Gran Torino, The Dark Knight) and the infamous (Amsteroid, All’s Fair in Love — anyone?). The point is, he’s been through it all. He learned from the great experiences, survived the terrible ones, and came out with a sharper aesthetic, tougher instincts, and a relentless drive to get better.
Today, he brings that hard-earned knowledge to every project—infusing it with personality, insight, and humor that’s authentic, unexpected, and just irreverent enough to keep things interesting.
That’s why he’s in comedy. Around here, you either learn to laugh… or you end up at the bar.

Peter Skorupskas directs with the precision of a Swiss watch and the wit of a jester who’s been let loose on the modern world.
His commercials? Why, they’re not just funny—they're a revelation.
Comedy, it seems, has found its new maestro.
